In an increasingly complex world, leadership and team performance has had to adapt from the traditional ‘command and control’ model to a much more inclusive ‘distributed leadership’ model.
Thrive leadership helps leaders create environments where teams can effectively manage themselves, and helps teams build the skills to be able to achieve this collectively.
A few words...
One of my key focus areas is helping leaders and teams achieve high levels of performance and wellbeing. Learning to self-regulate more effectively both individually and collectively, helps teams manage their energy and move from a reactive to a more proactive mindset.
One of Garry’s clients described him as a master at integrating concepts, thinking expansively and adapting quickly to the needs of his audience, whether that be in 1:1 coaching or working with an entire team.
He uses evidence-based frameworks and models, in combination with his extensive corporate experience to help leaders and teams find practical ways to improve both their performance and enjoyment of work.
Prior to becoming an Executive Coach, Garry had a successful career in HR and General Management, and experienced first hand the difficult transition of moving from a technical expert into a broader leadership role.
This inspired him to establish Thrive Leadership over 7 years ago.
What our clients say
‘Garry has consistently provoked me to consider new ideas, which he introduces by sharing stories or explaining models based on empirical research. His knowledge and optimism combine to leave me feeling encouraged and motivated to act on what I’ve learnt.’
