Executive Coaching
People may start with different temperaments and different aptitudes, but it is clear that experience, training, and personal effort take them the rest of the way.
-- Carol Dweck
Coaching is a collaborative, goal-directed process that supports the ongoing learning and growth of the coachee.
Throughout the working relationship the coach engages in direct, personal and sometimes challenging conversations. Successful coaching requires an active and collaborative approach between coach and coachees.
The coach plays the role of a facilitator of change. It is the client’s responsibility to enact change.
Coaching with Garry
I believe coaching is a thinking partnership where we work together to find new and more useful perspectives.
My focus is building self-reliance, rather than dependency, so the leader can apply the same principles in developing their own team.
I have a Master in Business Coaching and my methods are grounded in a strong evidence base. I utilise a combination of cognitive behavioural coaching techniques, a solution-focus and a strength based approach.
I coach leaders at all levels, from high potential through to C-Suite and have assisted executives transform both their effectiveness and enjoyment of work.
